Project management week 3
This week in my schedule I had planned to finish my second
draft of England: Dreams and hopes article, to finish this article I had to ask
to football fans what they thought of England’s chances of winning the world
cup. This has aloud to me to finish the whole of the article in full, the third
draft on my article will be complete for homework so next week I can start
setting up the triple page spread in InDesign and Photoshop. Now that the
article is written I will complete the whole article by the end of next week.
The photo-shoot for this article is taking place on the 7th
February, for the photo-shoot I have planned is to use four models with props
to make it look as if they are at an England match.
My other article; Young, English and Unnoticed has turned
out to be a complete disaster. The interview that I had set up with Curtis Main
has collapsed so after sitting down with my assessor and put together a
contingency plan. The article is going to be a cross between the history of
Darlington and how the club was saved.
Yesterday when I was walking down Duke Street I was lucky enough to bump
into Shaun Campbell, who was part of the organisation that saved Darlington I
managed to arrange an interview for Monday. I will be asking Shaun questions
about how he impacted Darlington and how they were saved the club.
This week has made me think that I need to make sure that
everything I am going to be doing over the next few weeks stays on schedule
because anything can change very quickly. With what I have learnt this week is
that my articles need to make sure that they stick to plan and don’t find any
problems.
